My primary research focuses on the philosophy, politics, and economics of natural resources. I am currently invested in a project examining the promotion of critical thinking skills among undergraduates in political theory, however.
I have taught courses in all the sub-fields of political science (including Methodology) but my favorite courses to teach are in democratic theory and comparative political economy.
Born in France, I emigrated to the United States in 1998. In my spare time, I like to read science fiction, escape locked rooms, and keep physically active.
I am also a somewhat regular contributor to the Cats of Austin Peay Political Science page, where our cats are used to create memes to promote interest in politics.
